The model is made out of full-size original used Mahindra chassis of the four-stroke four cylinder Engine The cut section model is constructed such that all following systems can be demonstrated in working conditions.


Description

The model is made out of full-size original used Mahindra chassis of the four-stroke four cylinder Engine The cut section model is constructed such that all following systems can be demonstrated in working conditions.

ENGINE:
Maximum parts and accessories of an engine like cylinders, cylinder head, Inlet and Exhaust manifolds, FIP, injectors, self-starter, Alternator, Water pump, Radiator, etc, are sectioned to show the internal constructional details.
This complete sectioned model is coupled with FHP 220/230V A.C single phase Motor through a Reduction drive unit. By running the motor the complete working details of the individual parts, different mechanisms can be demonstrated as the model is running at a very low speed (about 15 to 20 rpm).
By running the engine, the working of individual parts and accessories like Crankshaft, Camshaft, Connecting rod, Pistons, Valves, different pumps, etc can be demonstrated

TRANSMISSION SYSTEM:
It consists of a Clutch and four-speed gearbox assembly, the casing of which is suitably cut to demonstrate its operation. The circuit from the pedal to the Clutch is active and will help to demonstrate the response of hydraulic systems. The gearbox is coupled to a Differential gearbox with an axle and the different coupling used for this transmission can be demonstrated. The Differential gearbox is also cut so as to clearly demonstrate its complete operating principle. The gear shifting including the forward and reverse gear operation can be clearly shown. The speed variation and the rotation of the Differential gearbox can be seen while gear shifting. By running the motor connected to the engine assembly the entire system with gearbox, Caliper brake type front axle, rear axle with drum brakes can be demonstrated in running.

FUEL SYSTEM:
The Fuel tank is cut to expose the mounting of the level sensor and the position of the Fuel section. The system is complete with a mechanical fuel pump.

EXHAUST SYSTEM:
It consists of Exhaust Manifold and silencer in cut section to explain internal construction.

LUBRICATION SYSTEM:
It consists of the engine Lubrication system along with the Lubrication oil pump is suitably sectioned.

SUSPENSION SYSTEM:
This will explain both the Hydraulic Suspension systems at the front and the leaf spring Suspension at the Rear. One of the hydraulic arrangements of the Suspension mechanism is highlighted (with Shock absorbers) and explained cut sectionally.

BRAKING SYSTEM:
This Hydraulic circuit of the Hydraulic Braking mechanism is operational. The working of the front caliper brake system and rear drum brake system etc will be demonstrated, by operating the brake pedals one side of the brake system can be demonstrated, one side of the front and rear brakes will be sectioned to show the internal details.

STEERING MECHANISM:
This can be seen and included in the Steering wheel, Steering gearbox and coupling of the same to the wheels will be shown by rotating the steering wheel the operation of the steering system can be demonstrated.

ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:
The Electrical system gives a complete idea of the electrical system and circuit of the Mahindra Jeep vehicle. The working of individual parts and accessories such as a Sectionised Self-starter, Alternator, Wiper Motor, etc., and working of the headlight Brake light, side indicator, Horn, parking lights, Cut- out, Horn relay, etc. can be demonstrated by connecting the battery terminal provided to a working battery. The entire system will be assembled onto the chassis and part of the vehicle body which will be suitably sectioned will be replaced. The entire system will be fitted as per the original vehicle fitting. One sectionized battery will also be provided along with the same.

The entire system will be mounted on the original chassis, and a suitable mounting option with caster wheels will be provided for easy movability.
